German born artist Stefan Hoffmann living and working in Rotterdam uses vertical screen printing, to create site-specific projects, based on existing graphic material. His working process is a search for an adequate visual answer to the specific situation and the social, political issues he encounters.   

For his residency project at AM ART SPACE he selected part a local warning sign as the essential visual element of his wall-printing project. The printing process is ongoing and can be followed by the public from April 22 until the opening on Sunday 28th. 

Hoffmann has been involved in numerous projects in Europe and North America over the past several years, and has been working with the Andy Warhol Museum, The Museum for Contemporary Canadian Art MOCCA and the Netherlands Architecture Institute NAi.  

 AM ART SPACE is delighted to host Hoffmann's first ever solo presentation in Asia.
