 “阿姨杯”连续剧场 

"A Yi Cup“ Theater Series by SHAO Yi and TANG Maohong

“阿姨杯”连续剧场是“杯剧”之一。活动将邵一、唐茂宏各自工作室的物品运到上午艺术空间里，这些物品包括作品、作品材料及各类物品。请一个人来整理，结束后再请他弄乱。艺术家邀请没有任何共通性的人成为作品的创作者并直接参与其中，不设置任何评判标准，参与者可按各自理解或切身感受编排这些物品。在此，艺术家暂时退出自己原有的主导身份，成为活动组织者。因为这些参与者的加入，空间内的变化每天都无法预设。观众在任何时候闯入，看到的都是不一样的状态，它不同于艺术家的创作现场，也相异于现成物的展示。展示完毕，全部物品会运回他们各自的工作室。

“阿姨杯”连续剧场结束后，艺术家将根据活动主题制作一个主题杯，与其他主题的“杯剧” 共同展示在香格纳画廊北京的庭院空间内。所有活动资料会在香格纳画廊北京汇总。“阿姨杯”连续剧场从5月20日启动，参与者随意挑选自己合适的日期加入，活动同期开放参观。

杯剧
“杯剧”是一幕幕创作实践，持续发生在不同地方。
“杯剧”由不同主题的活动集合而成。
“杯剧”的每次活动在“XX杯”的标题下展开创作。
“杯剧”的每次活动将根据活动主题制作一个主题杯。

邵一1967年生于杭州，他目前在杭州和上海两地生活和工作。和他同年代的人们一样，邵一眼见人们越来越形影单只，逐渐地与传统家庭生活脱离，住在匿名的公寓框框里，微行在超级市场和大型商场购物中，被压缩到一个只和电视及网络为友的虚拟世界。最近的展览包括龙时代 - 来自上海的当代艺术，RAUMA美术馆，芬兰（2012）；脉冲反应：一个关于艺术实践的交流项目，时代美术馆，广东 （2012）；低级景观——石青、邵一双人展， 香格纳H空间，上海（2010）；资产阶级化了的无产阶级, 当代艺术展在松江, 松江创意工房, 上海（2009）；走光，比翼艺术中心，上海（2008）。

"A Yi Cup" Theater Series is an event of the "Cup play", which initiated by SHAO Yi and TANG Maohong from 2013. As they said, " 'Cup Play' is the scenes of practice for creation happened in various places." “Cup Play” is a long-term activity of different themes collection. In addition to “A Yi Cup”, recently there are four events being planned together. 

At "A Yi Cup" Theater Series, artworks, material and other stuff from the studios of SHAO Yin and TANG Maohong are moved to am art Space. Then, a participant will be invited to tidy them up and confuse them again. Different participants will repeat the process of tidying and confusing. After the exhibition, all the things will be transported to original places.

Because of artists do not set any criteria, participants who have nothing in common could orchestrating their items according to their respective understanding or personal experience. These people become the creators and directly intrude the works. However, artist became the organizer temporarily, instead to the original dominant identity. On the other hand, the live space and final effect totally couldn't be presupposed. It is different with the artist created or the “READY-MADE” be displayed. 

We will formally start the event from May 21 until the opening on June 8. After the event, works will be moved back to the courtyard Space of ShanghART Gallery Beijing.

What is the “Cup Play”？

"Cup Play" are the scences of creative practice, happening in various places.
"Cup Play" are the activities of different themes.
"Cup Play" is subtitled as "XX Cup" in each work.
"Cup Play" creates physical cups according to different themes.

Shao Yi was born in Hang Zhou in 1967; he lives and works in Hang Zhou and Shanghai. Recent exhibitions include Time of the Dragon - Contemporary Art from Shanghai, Rauma Art Museum, Finland (2012); Pulse Reaction, An Exchange Project on Art Practice, Times Museum, Guangdong (2012); Elementary Spectacle, ShanghART Gallery, Shanghai (2010), Contemporary Art Exhibition in Songjiang, Songjiang Creative Studio, Shanghai (2009); Light Fogging - Shao Yi Solo Exhibition, BizArt, Shanghai (2008).

Tang Maohong was born in 1975. Working and living in Shanghai now.
