Short chronicle: am art space intents to develop the cooperation between Shanghai and Western Art Residence Organization, let more western artists live and work in Shanghai for a period, and help more Chinese artsits to go to western countries and make culture exchange there. That is the goal of am art space. In cooperation with artists, art galleries, and cultural institutions - both China and international, this space will continue to host contemporary art exhibitions and cultural events and provide a showing and living space for artists from different countries.

Media: Visual arts, Sculpture, Installation, Performing arts, Music, Literature.

Conditions: An exhibition should be scheduled at the end of the living period, which, in general, should not exceed 3 weeks. Artist should leave at least one piece of art works in am art space.

Grants: Unfortunately, no grants can be directly provided by am art space. Applicants are encouraged to seek funding from sources in their home country/institution. The residence in am art space should be paid 100RMB/day.

Expenses paid by artists: The Gallery and accommodation space will be offered at preferential rates.
